Replenishment

Replenishment

The woods stand
Cloaked in misty
Hope

A quiet has descended
As all await the promised
Rain

This draught has tested
Us beyond our limits
And we are longing
For replenishment.

I love the evocative phrase “misty hope”.

Thanks dear friend. Sometimes misty hope — if we can recognize it — is an important step toward full-on, full-out hopefulness, like that provided by spending some time with a treasured wise-woman.
